<匯港通訊>   有傳媒報道,Google(谷歌)在中國停止提供翻譯服務,惟現階段香港未受影響,網頁和程式版等均可正常使用。

據報,原本的網址 translate.google.cn 已經變成普通的 Google Search 搜尋頁面,中國用戶在使用 Chrome 瀏覽器和 KOReader 文件閱讀器時,將無法使用翻譯功能。

在回應媒體查詢時,Google 承認翻譯服務於中國停止提供,原因與當地使用率太低有關。 (BC)
