轉數快與PromptPay互通 金管局：每日限額是保障措施apps須更新 X

<匯港通訊>    金管局表示，香港轉數快與泰國PromptPay於12月4日起，提供跨境二維碼支付互聯，每日最高付款限額為1萬港元，客戶以電子錢包掃瞄PromptPay二維碼，便可在泰國的商店付款，每次交易前會有匯率提示。

金管局副總裁李達志表示，對於每日最高付款限額1萬港元，認為金額合適，會視乎客戶使用情況而與業界商討會否提高限額。他說，認為該限額不是漏洞，而是以風險為本的保障措施。

李達志指，泰國在跨境支付方面的經驗較豐富，與香港開展跨境二維碼支付互通，對港人在泰國進行小額消費會帶來方便。

香港有7間銀行及兩間電子錢包支付工具作為用戶方參與機構，泰國則有3間銀行參與，雙方的結算銀行分別是匯豐銀行以及盤谷銀行。

金管局提醒客戶，使用該系統需確保手機應用程式已更新至最新版本。 (LF)
