保監局歡迎鼎睿再保險在港發行第2宗巨災債劵 X

<匯港通訊>     保監局歡迎由鼎睿再保險發行，總額為5000萬美元(約3.88億港元)的巨災債券，範圍涵蓋中國內地、日本和印度地震風險以及日本颱風風險。

這宗交易透過鼎睿再保險於2022年成立的特定目的保險公司Black Kite Re Limited進行。

保監局發言人指，鼎睿再保險決定於香港利用相同的設置發行第2宗巨災債券，足證香港作為保險相連證券樞紐的競爭力和成熟程度日益提高。這宗發行旨在應對更廣泛的天然災害風險，展現出保險相連證券在收窄亞洲地區保障缺口的巨大潛力。 (ST)
