<匯港通訊>  英國《金融時報》報道,甲骨文(Oracle)將斥資約400億美元購買40萬顆輝達(Nvidia)GB200 晶片,為 OpenAI 在美國的新資料中心提供運算能力。

外電報道,該數據中心位於得克薩斯州 Abilene 市,是聊天機械人 ChatGPT 開發商 OpenAI 推動的「星際之門」(Stargate)計劃的一部分。

美國總統特朗普1月促成 OpenAI、甲骨文及軟銀合作,在美國多地興建 AI 數據中心。項目稱為「星際之門」計劃,初期投資金額5000億美元,目的在提升美國於全球 AI 產業競爭中所佔的份量。 (BC)
