<匯港通訊>  美國總統特朗普再次批評聯儲局主席鮑威爾。特朗普在社交媒體發文,形容鮑威爾是「太遲先生」,他與整個聯儲局都應該為無進一步減息而感到羞恥。

特朗普說,如果鮑威爾及聯儲局好好工作,美國就能節省數以萬億計美元的利息成本,但聯儲局袖手旁觀,難辭其咎。

白宮發言人萊維特表示,特朗普在給鮑威爾的一封信中,提及全球多國的利率,告知鮑威爾應該大幅降低利率。 (BC)
