美元連跌7日　通脹數據低於預期 X

<匯港通訊>   美元連跌7個交易日，市場對美伊談判持樂觀態度，而即使美國3月最終需求生產物價指數(PPI)按年升4%，創逾3年新高，但仍低於市場預期。

在紐約尾市，美匯指數跌至98.1附近，跌幅逾0.2%。

歐元兌美元升0.3%，較早時報1.1795美元。英鎊兌美元升逾0.4%，報1.3562美元。美元兌日圓跌約0.4%，報158.82日圓。

芝加哥聯儲銀行行長古爾斯比表示，如果中東戰爭導致油價長期高企，從而拖慢通脹向聯儲局2%目標回落的進程，聯儲局可能要到明年才會減息。

另外，歐洲央行行長拉嘉德表示，由於戰爭對歐元區經濟影響仍未明朗，歐洲央行仍未就是否加息作出決定。 （BC)
