外國記者會據報獲港府批續租 X

<匯港通訊>     近年捲入政治爭議的香港外國記者會(Foreign Correspondents' Club，FCC)租約明年1月1日到期，會方早前向政府提出續租，惟一直未有下文。《星島日報》報道，政府已決定讓 FCC 續租，但租期由以往的7年減至3年，並加入維護國家安全條款。

政府發言人回覆該報查詢時表示，已向FCC 提出以市值租金向其批出為期3年固定期的新租約，稱政府已定下新政策，所有經政府產業署出租歷史建築物的租約年期，不多於3年，並已於新租約內加入保障國家安全的標準條文。FCC 主席瑞凱德(Keith Richburg)截稿前未回覆。 (BC)
