US stocks close mixed, with DJIA up 0.01% X

(Infocast News)    US stocks were mixed Tuesday while oil prices and bond yields rose as investors look to remarks Wednesday from Jerome Powell.

The DJIA rose 3.07 points or 0.01%, to 33,852.53.

The S&P 500 fell 6.31 points or 0.16%, to 3,957.63.

The Nasdaq Composite fell 65.72 points or 0.59%, to 10,983.78.

Stocks mixed in the three major European markets.

The FTSE 100 rose 37.98 points or 0.51%, to 7,512.00.

The German DAX fell 27.91 points or 0.19%, to 14,355.45.

The French CAC 40 rose 3.77 points or 0.06%, to 6,668.97.
