耶倫: 美國經濟部分環節放緩 料降低通脹繼續有進展 X

<匯港通訊>     美國財長耶倫接受電視台訪問時表示，受惠消費開支穩健增長，美國經濟表現保持強勁，但部分環節已見放緩。她強調，降低通脹仍是首要任務，認為美國通過債務上限協議，有助聯儲局壓低通脹，預計未來2年將繼續在降低通脹方面取得進展。

耶倫指，勞動市場緊張情況已見紓緩訊號，而失業率保持在約4%的水平，認為勞動市場正保持強勁的同時，通脹水平亦可逐步下降。

耶倫又指，銀行業普遍正為未來的挑戰和重組做好準備，部分銀行可能面對商業房地產方面的壓力，但業界的資本和流動性保持強勁，相信可以面對未來的挑戰。她又說，不排除銀行業會再度出現整合。  （BC)
