蘋果據報取消電動車開發計劃 X

<匯港通訊>  外電援引消息人士表示,蘋果公司周二對內部披露,取消長達10年的電動車研發計劃,團隊將轉為專注於發展生成式人工智能(AI)。

報道稱,蘋果營運總監威廉斯和負責電動車研發項目的副總裁 Kevin Lynch,向員工交代上述消息。

蘋果叫停電動車研發計劃,令項目約2000名員工感到意外。蘋果電動車團隊還有數百名硬件工程師和電動車設計師,他們或許可以轉往其他部門工作。

蘋果據報可能需要裁員,具體人數仍不清楚。蘋果對上述消息拒絕置評。 (BC)
