<匯港通訊>  中共中央政治局委員、外長王毅與美國國務卿魯比奧在吉隆坡會面,是兩人首次面對面會談。

王毅稱,希望美方以客觀、理性態度看待中國,以和平共處、合作共贏為目標制定對華政策,以平等、尊重、互惠方式同中方打交道,共同找到一條新時期中美正確相處之道。中方表示,雙方一致認為會晤積極、務實、具建設性,同意加強外交渠道及各領域各層級溝通對話。

魯比奧亦形容會談非常具建設性,又稱美中兩國必須有關係,必須有溝通,總統特朗普與中國國家主席習近平會面的可能性高。美國國務院發言人在聲明中指出,雙方同意探索潛在的合作領域,同時尋求管控分歧。 (BC)
