US stocks close higher, with DJIA up 0.63% X

(Infocast News)    US stocks ended higher on Wednesday, extending its tech-led rally and touching two-week highs as worries over artificial intelligence disruption and costs took a back seat to renewed optimism over the nascent technology's potential benefits. 

The DJIA rose 307.65 points or 0.63%, to 49,482.15.

The Nasdaq Composite rose 288.40 points or 1.26%, to 23,152.08.

The S&P 500 rose 56.06 points or 0.81%, to 6,946.13.

Stocks rose in the three major European markets.

The FTSE 100 rose 125.82 points or 1.18%, to 10,806.41.

The German DAX rose 189.69 points or 0.76%, to 25,175.94.

The French CAC 40 rose 39.86 points or 0.47%, to 8,559.07.
