貢茶傳賣盤 估值20億美元 X

<匯港通訊>    外電引述消息人士稱，全資持有台灣手搖飲料品牌「貢茶」(Gong Cha)的美國波士頓私募基金TA Associates計劃出售所持股份，是次估值可能約20億美元。

資料顯示，於1996年由吳振華於高雄開設第一間高級茶店，並開創奶蓋，於2006年正式創立貢茶品牌，2009年進軍香港後，迅速發展至亞洲如日本、南韓等，同時於澳洲、英國、美國等有分店，共有逾2200間店。

澳洲風險投資家Martin Berry於2012年買入南韓首爾第一間貢茶特許經營權，並將業務拓展至韓國和其他亞洲國家，他於2016年與私募股權公司Unison Capital資助韓國貢茶公司以1000億韓圜收購台灣母公司約70%股權，TA Associates則於2019年據報以約3500億韓圜從Unison Capital全購貢茶股權。

2021年貢茶曾傳出有意首次公開發行股票(IPO)或向戰略投資者出售股權，以便拓展內地市場等，當時據報貢茶估值至少6億美元。 (WL)
