<匯港通訊>  據《紐約時報》報道,泡泡瑪特(09992.HK)旗下 Labubu 部分玩偶的服裝含有來自中國西部新疆地區的棉花。美國政府因該地區與強逼勞動存在關聯,已禁止進口此類棉花。該公司在美國或面臨處罰。

泡泡瑪特的一位發言人表示,公司將對供應鏈中出現新疆棉的情況進行調查,並稱公司對自身及其供應商要求達到「最高標準」。泡泡瑪特表示,其玩偶中只有一小部分使用棉花製作服裝,公司正在制定計劃,在面向美國市場的產品中用其他材料替代棉花。

非牟利組織「維吾爾運動」(Campaign for Uyghurs)已向美國海關與邊境保護局提交關於泡泡瑪特使用新疆棉,以及其中國工廠涉嫌其他勞工違規的訊息,該機構負責執行進口禁令。
