Anthropic 據報自研 AI 晶片 與三星洽談合作 X

<匯港通訊>  The Information 引述消息稱,Anthropic 已經啟動自研人工智能(AI)晶片項目,並正在與三星電子洽談客製化合作,採用對方的2納米製程及先進封裝技術進行晶片製造。

Anthropic 的計劃仍處於早期階段,該公司仍在確定處理器的功能、效能目標,以及如何將晶片整合到伺服器中。

Anthropic 表示,亞馬遜(AMZN.US)的 Trainium 晶片、Google(谷歌)的張量處理器(TPU),以及 Nvidia(輝達)(NVDA.US)的圖形處理器仍將是算力戰略的核心,但拒絕對晶片計劃置評,三星電子也拒絕評論。

相較於 Google、亞馬遜雲(AWS)已持續多年投入自研晶片,Anthropic 屬於相對較晚進入此領域的廠商。Meta(META.US)、微軟(MSFT.US)同樣已經開發自有 AI 晶片。

OpenAI 則於2024年與 Broadcom(AVGO.US)合作開發專用 AI 晶片,並於今年公布雙方合作推出的首款產品,一款面向大語言模型推理任務設計的專用晶片。 (BC)
