蘋果據報尋求收購 AI 晶片公司 X

<匯港通訊>  據 The Information 報道,蘋果公司(AAPL.US)正在尋求收購人工智能(AI)晶片公司的機會,以強化旗下 AI 伺服器的運作性能。

報道稱,最近幾個月,蘋果已經與銀行家就可能的交易進行接洽,同時接觸多家半導體初創企業,以了解對方的賣盤意願。

蘋果基於 M2 Ultra 的伺服器,難以應對高要求的 AI 工作負載,逼使蘋果在 Google(谷歌)雲端中使用 Nvidia(輝達)(NVDA.US)圖像處理器(GPU)來支援新一代語音助理 Siri。蘋果下一代伺服器晶片Baltra 的發布,則已被推遲到2026年以後。

今年1月,蘋果以近20億美元收購 Q.ai,這是繼 Beats 之後蘋果的第二大交易。蘋果財務總監帕雷克(Kevan Parekh)表示,公司將放棄淨現金中性政策,從而在大型收購方面擁有更大的靈活性。 (BC)
