(Infocast News) BITSTRAT HLDGS(06113) announced that the Group is expected to record a loss of not less than approximately RM6.88 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026 as compared to a profit of approximately RM4.6 million recorded for the six months ended 30 June 2025.

Despite an increase in the revenue of the Group to approximately RM46.4 million was recorded for the Interim Period (Preceding Period: approximately
RM45.2 million), the turnaround from profit to loss was mainly attributable to (i) the recognition of an impairment loss of Bitcoin of approximately RM4.96 million for the Interim Period (Preceding Period: Nil); (ii) the increase in the Group’s other operating expenses to approximately RM12.9 million for the Interim Period (Preceding Period: approximately RM8.9 million) primarily due to the increase in costs associated with the analytical review for the purpose of enhancing the telemarketing services performance and workforce deployment of the Group; and (iii) the increase in the Group’s staff costs to approximately RM30.37 million for the Interim Period (Preceding Period: approximately
