世界氣象組織警告：厄爾尼諾現象加劇 極端天氣風險料延至明年 X

<匯港通訊>    聯合國轄下世界氣象組織(WMO)最新預報指出，受赤道太平洋海溫異常升高推動，強厄爾尼諾現象正持續增強，預計於今年年底達到峰值，其引發的極端高溫、乾旱及洪水等風險極可能延續至明年2月。

聯合國秘書長古特雷斯對此警告，隨著海表溫度持續攀升，世界已進入極端天氣危險區。WMO秘書長紹羅亦指出，本次厄爾尼諾現象極為異常，對各地社區及經濟具有強烈破壞力，呼籲國際社會刻不容緩，採取超常措施加強防備與應對。 (ST)
