英倫銀行加息0.25厘至4厘符合預期 X

<匯港通訊> 英倫銀行宣布,加息0.25厘,基準利率由3.75厘升至4厘,符合市場預期,為3年多以來首次加息。該行以8-1投票將基準利率上調至4厘。委員曼恩持反對意見,主張加息50個基點至4.25厘。

英倫銀行行長貝利表示,除非美伊衝突結束,否則這不太可能是最後一次加息。

英倫銀行核心預測顯示,通脹率將在明年第二季度達到4.9%的峰值,為2023年9月以來的最高水平,並在2029年回落至2%目標以下。 (BC)
